Leaving soon!

That’s right- in 2 days I will be on a plane on my way to Switzerland for my school exchange! WOW I am so excited!!! I probably won’t sleep at all on Thursday night, and I will have to be at the airport at 7 am. It’s not that big of a deal, because i have 3 planes to catch, 2+2+8 hours long.

I did so much shopping today in preperation for the trip! That’s pretty bad since it’s in two days… But I’m still really happy with my purchases! I went out with my mother and we had a rocky start with the two of us, but it was all okay in the end. I think she was really tired… sorry mom ;_;!

My hair also has “real” bangs, more in your face than a funny little side bang. It’s been straightened and is moreso in my eye at the moment, but if I blowdry it, it can go off to the side better. I also learned a bit of haircare tips from the lady who cut my hair-  I had a really fun time conversing with her! Usually haircuts for me are really awkward because it’s just filled with silence… I want to go back there for future hair cuts, but it’s really far…

I am super excited to go, but I’m also really worried. Will my exchange partner like me? Will I get pick-pocketed? Will my luggage be lost? I still have to completely pack my suitcase, and I don’t even know if I have everything I need. This is really nerve wracking, and I won’t see my parents and family for 6 weeks. There is stuff I can buy when I am there though, thank goodness.

I have a lot of games for my Nintendo DS Lite, so I can try some of those out not only on the plane, but also at school if I have free time! I am excited- I stayed up last night trying a whole bunch of them out, haha… It made me really tired today… ^^;; I hope to get a really good sleep tonight! Tomorrow I’ll have to clean up… my… really messy room… My mom might get mad at me again. >_>;

I also am bringing one book (I bought 4 books with 2 other friends and we’re going to share them during the duration of the flight/stay there) and my iPod- I’ll be using them one at a time. I hope on the smaller flights that there will be outlets so I can use them on the plane without worrying about my battery dying- it’s really convenient! I have an iPod charger I bought specifically for travelling that can go into an outlet plug, but also USB; it can be used while it’s charging, unlike regular iPod connection wires into comptuers.

I still need an adapter for my plugs to work in Switzerland.. my father said he could borrow one from a friend (who has a daughter that goes to Europe a lot?), but I hope I can get it soon… it’s coming up so quickly! @w@

3 of my close friends will also be going on this exchange, so I am really excited I won’t have to entirely make new friends. And we’ll be good/closer to the others that we don’t know that well right now. We will be like family, haha!

Mm… I think I’m going to get my DS back from my younger cousin to do my daily Brain Age training. I did the 20 questions in the car, but it was really hot and uncomfortable, so my score was lower than usual. It’s really fun! I’m so glad I got it! I also have the flash focus game, but I played it really late so it counted as today. ^^;;

LOL wow no H!P talk?! I fail, I’m sorry!

I still owe so many lines for projects, I am SO SO SO sorry- first on my priority list are Aurora and jko, but I have been pushing those back for so long and I apologize (even though they won’t read this, but my conscience is a bit lighter…). I really doubt I can get it done, because tomorrow may very well be a family/packing kind of day because I leave the next day. I also haven’t mixed the b-side of Genki+Rabu’s anniversary single, Naichau Kamo, and it’s been mostly sitting on my computer. I just have to do some timing and volume rearranging, because I have everyone’s parts mixed in. But I WILL try to get that done by tomorrow!

I have some H!P fansubbed videos on my laptop, as well as some movies that I can watch. I ended up watching most of the Utaban ones before, which is a shame because they were really entertaining… I hope to think up some good movies tonight I can get before I leave!
