Spring is here! Maybe…

I’ve been reading a lot of blog stuff recently, and it reminded me to go update my own! Even though no one reads it, haha. I should really get around to exchanging links on the blog roll or however it is called, but I don’t really know anyone that well…>_<;; And even if it is just for myself, when I look back after several months or years, it will seem like an interesting read and feel so nostalgic to come up with those memories again.

I DID end up joining track! I went twice a week in February, but had to stop going in March because of my musical (which was AMAZING- i am so sad that it is over), but I went back for the first time in ages, and… it was SO hard! I think my legs still sting a bit right now (I went on Tuesday and today is Saturday)! It was really difficult, but I really felt so much better- after the hour and 30 minutes. I’m like… the newest and most out of shape person there, so I think people are nice to humor me, or expect me to drop out. I actually like it very much- it is fun and makes me feel better about myself, except when I run in front of people I really know…>_>;;

Today a friend and I went out to see the movie Coraline. It was really good! I didn’t really know what much of the plot was about (I didn’t know that Dakota Fanning’s character had blue hair even…), but I enjoyed it a lot! It was actually quite scary/thrilling/suspenseful at times, and I was surprised that it was a “children’s” movie. But that’s probably Tim Burton’s style for you. But all in all, I really liked it!

Before we went to the movie, we went to Dollarama to buy some stuff/movie snacks (we’re bad…T_T), but I ended up not having any during the movie. I think I’ve been watching too many movies recently as I am getting really sick of the taste of theatre popcorn and constantly have the stuff in my purse. I always drink Strawberry Fruitopia with it, which is so sweet, but carbonated stuff loses it’s fizz, and other stuff makes my teeth feel groww. Haha, maybe I should just bring a water bottle next time or something. So now I have some junk food in my purse- it kind of makes me feel a bit nauseated thinking about it…x_X;;

The Hannah Montana movie came out yesterday, but I won tickets to an advanced screening of the movie, so we saw it on Monday. It was actually really good! It wasn’t as cheesy as I thought it would be and silly as the TV show. It did have its too exaggerated moments, but I am glad that I saw it (though I would have seen it after anyways). I think that we were the oldest ones there that didn’t bring their children/siblings…^^;;

It seems that I’ve been watching a lot of “kid” movies recently. Over spring break, me and some friends went to see Monsters vs. Aliens 3D. It wasn’t bad, but I just couldn’t get into it that much. I didn’t particularly like Reese Witherspoon’s portrayal of Susan (the main character; Ginormica). And then Hannah Montana followed by Coraline. The friend I saw Coraline with asked me (jokingly? lol) to go out for another movie next week too…

Anyways, in the Hannah Montana movie, there is a song called the Hoedown Throwdown, and it has a fun little dance with it! There is a tutorial on YouTube on the steps, and I learned the 30 second snippet that they taught (which is the main dancing part). It’s really fun, and I was at a friend’s house on Thursday and we were (mostly) all trying to learn it. xD

I got a haircut over the spring break too! It’s shoulder length and layered, and I also got bangs cut (even though I half pinned them today). It actually reminded me of Sugaya Risako’s hair from the 2009 Winter Wonderful Hearts concert, but hers isn’t layered, and the bangs are different. But just the length and the say of straightening it, I suppose. At school recently I haven’t been straightening it that much because I’ve been tired… I should try to change that! But I use my sister’s straightener because I don’t have my own and she always gets mad at me…

I think I might buy myself a little straightener to do my bangs and such with. The Cosmotology students used them when doing my hair for the musical, and I think it would help lots. My hair isn’t very bad without straightening, but it’s mostly the bang part that is annoying. And I can still use it as a regular straightener for smaller sections (I hopt it will still go very hot and work well though!).

Blogging can take a lot out of you! Good night!
